What the platform is
We operate a business-to-business directory and sourcing platform. It connects buyers with businesses in Nepal, lets buyers post sourcing requirements, and lets suppliers respond with quotations.
We are an introduction and communication service. We are not a party to any contract you form with another user, we do not sell the goods or services listed, we do not take possession of them, and we do not process payments between users.
Accounts
You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password confidential.
You must be authorised to act for the business you represent. Accounts are for businesses, not consumers.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.
What you may not do
Do not misrepresent who you are, what your business does, or what you can supply.
Do not upload documents that are not yours, or that you have altered to misrepresent a fact.
Do not use the platform to send unsolicited bulk messages, to harvest contact details, or to circumvent another user.
Do not attempt to access data belonging to another user, probe our systems for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with the service.
Do not list goods or services whose sale or export is unlawful in Nepal, in your country, or in the buyer’s country.
Verification, and what it does and does not mean
A "Verified by Platform" mark means a person on our team reviewed the documents that business submitted and considered them consistent with the identity claimed.
It is not a government endorsement, a credit check, a quality guarantee, an audit, or a warranty that any transaction will complete satisfactorily. It does not transfer risk from you to us.
You remain responsible for your own due diligence before entering a contract. See our Verification Policy for what is actually checked.
Dealings between users
Any contract for goods or services is between the buyer and the supplier. Price, specification, payment terms, delivery, inspection, insurance, export and import compliance, and dispute resolution are matters for those parties.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any user, for the quality or legality of anything listed, or for a counterparty’s failure to perform.
Fees
Listing and use of the platform is currently free for businesses in Nepal during our initial growth phase.
If we introduce charges, we will give notice before they apply to you, and you will be able to stop using the paid feature rather than pay.
Content you provide
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us a licence to host, store and display it for the purpose of operating the platform — for example, showing your company profile and product listings to buyers, and showing your documents to the reviewer handling your verification.
You confirm you have the right to provide what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove an account or a listing where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, where content is unlawful, or where an account presents a risk to other users.
Where it is practical and appropriate, we will say why and give an opportunity to respond. You may close your account at any time.
Availability
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. [to be completed] — a liability cap and the carve-outs required by local law must be set by a qualified lawyer.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
