About

Sourcing from Nepal should not require a plane ticket

We are building the place where an international buyer can find a Nepali supplier, check who they are, and start a real conversation.

Nepal produces things the world wants — tea, cardamom, timur, honey, herbs, felt, pashmina, handmade paper. What it has lacked is a straightforward way for a buyer abroad to work out which supplier is real, what they can actually produce, and how to reach them.

Most sourcing from Nepal still happens through personal introductions, trade fairs, and long email chains that start from nothing. That works if you already have contacts. It is almost impossible if you do not.

So we built two things. A directory where Nepali businesses can present themselves properly and have their identity documents checked by a person. And a sourcing workflow where a buyer posts what they need, relevant suppliers respond with real quotations, and the two sides can talk.

What we are careful about

Our verification mark means a person reviewed a business’s documents. It is not a government endorsement and not a quality guarantee, and we say so everywhere it appears. Overstating it would make the mark worthless to the buyers who rely on it.

We do not take a commission on introductions, we do not rank suppliers by what they pay us, and listing is free for Nepali businesses while we build the supplier base.
