Trust
How verification works
Cross-border sourcing runs on trust. Verification is how we make that trust legible — and how we keep ourselves honest about its limits.
- 01
You submit documents
UK businesses provide company registration details and supporting evidence. Nepal suppliers provide company registration, PAN/VAT details and, where the product category requires it, export documentation.
- 02
A person reads them
Someone on our team checks the documents are legible, current, and consistent with the profile. Every decision is recorded against the reviewer who made it.
- 03
The mark appears
Approved companies show a verified mark across the directory, the supplier marketplace and every quote. Rejected submissions get a written reason and can be resubmitted.
What the mark does not mean
Verified means our team reviewed the documents submitted to us. It is not a government verification, a credit check, a quality guarantee, or an endorsement of any particular transaction. Do your own due diligence before committing to an order — particularly a first one.
Why the marketplace stays neutral
The platform has to remain useful even if you never buy anything from us. Search results are ranked by relevance, verification status and recency. There is no paid placement, no sponsored position, and no preference for stock we might one day own ourselves. If we ever list our own products, they will carry a label saying exactly that.
We take no commission on anything agreed here, and we never hold funds. That is deliberate: it means we have no financial reason to push you toward one supplier over another.
